The 2024 version of this electric Kia vehicle is basically the same as for the 2023 model-year in terms of the electric range, the electric powertrain and the on-board technologies. Few changes have been made other than the now standard offered dual-level cargo floor, along with the removal of both the Fire Orange Metallic body colour and the Light Grey interior colour package.
The names given to the fit and finishes have also changed, moving from Premium, Premium+ and Limited to Wind, Wind+ and Wave for 2024. This change seems to be part of a broader strategy to rejuvenate the model’s corporate identity, aligning it with a modernized design and technological updates.

Moreover, all of the trims offered for this family car come standard equipped with 17- inch wheels, heated exterior mirrors with integrated flashers, along with LED daytime running lights, positioning lamps and taillights, among other things.
Among the other exterior features the Niro EV offers, you will find the smart power tailgate and roof rails (Wind+), while the Wave model also offers LED headlights and fog lights, a sunroof and a black chrome radiator grille, among other things.
When it comes to the other standard offered features on the Kia Niro EV, they include heated front seats, air conditioning, front seats with height settings, and paddle shifters, to name just a few.
On the superior trim levels, you will also find fabric cloth or leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, front seats with power settings, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats.

All of the 2024 Kia Niro EV trim levels are equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with 201 horsepower and 188 lb-ft. maximum torque. This powertrain is coupled with a one-speed transmission along with front-wheel drive.
Towing is not recommended with the 2024 Kia Niro EV; however, it comes with a generous amount of cargo space that varies between 646 and 1,805 liters, which will allow you to carry a great many things. Finally, there is enough room for 5- passengers to take place on board.

The Kia Niro EV also stands out with its generous electric range, which can reach up to 407 kilometers on all trims. Moreover, it is equipped with a 64.8- kWh battery, requiring between 6 and 9 hours to reach full charge, when charging on a level 2 (240 V) charging station. It is also possible to plug your Niro EV on a level 3 charging station (between 50 and 350 kW), in which case charging times are reduced to between 43 and 65 minutes.
