The 2025 Kia EV6 fits the trend of evolving the vehicle to be more compatible with the new models of the European manufacturer. This also characterizes the 2025 Kia K4, which aligns with the design of the brand's recent vehicles.
At the Los Angeles Auto Show, it was possible to observe that the 2025 EV6 features new Star Map headlights. The bumper is more angular, and the hood brings a breath of modernity to the electric vehicle. The EV6's automatic-opening door handles are now available on all versions. For 2025, the existing rear-wheel and all-wheel drive powertrains will be carried over. The former ensures an extended range of 525 km, while the AWD version offers 475 km before stopping at a charging station. The most important change in terms of powertrain would come from the Kia EV6 GT-Line, which will be able to produce 601 horsepower and an impressive 545 lb-ft of torque.
With GT mode activated, the 2025 EV6 will develop 641 horsepower and 568 lb-ft compared to 576 horsepower and 545 lb-ft in the 2024 version. It will be even more powerful and will no doubt surpass the 0-100 km/h mark of 3.7 seconds!
With such changes, the towing capacity of the Kia EV6 would increase to 2,700 lb instead of the current 2,300 lb.

Let us estimate the price of the future 2025 EV6. While the Kia EV6 price range spanned from $48,729 (Wind RWD) to $68,818 (GT AWD) in 2024 at Kia Chambly, the larger 2025 Kia EV9 offers a price range from $52,729 (Light RWD) to $71,729 (Land with GT-Line).

Few notable changes have been made between the 2024 Kia EV6 and the previous model-year, except for the amount of trims being offered (6 last year); this change allows for the entry-level model to be equipped with a more powerful powertrain, moving from 167 horsepower to 225 horsepower.

As mentioned above, the entry-level model now offers a powertrain with 225 horsepower; it can reach 320 horsepower and even up to 576 horsepower in the case of the GT trim.

All EV6 trims offer a maximum towing capacity of 2,300 pounds, which is superior to many competing models. Moreover, you will also have access to an amount of cargo space that ranges between 691 and 1,322 liters, depending on if you fold down rear seats or not.
The good news is that you will be able to recover up to 80 % of your battery capacity in just 18 minutes, when charging on a level 3 quick charging station; you will need between 6 hours and 7 hours when plugging your EV6 on a level 2 (240V) charging station, domestic or public.
Depending on the selected model, you could also have access to between 373 and 499 kilometers in range on one single charge. Finally, the Kia EV6 can also be used as a generator for several different electronic or electric devices!
